Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide helps roots by aerating the soil, it introduces additional oxygen to promote plant health as well as the plant’s roots have more room to spread out in their search for moisture and nutrients.

Hydrogen peroxide will also help prevent plant disease like fungus, root rot, powdery mildew and mealy bugs. You don't need to wait until your plants are already sick.

Combine 1 teaspoon of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide to every 1 cup of water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and mist the plant. Spray the hydrogen peroxide mixture all over the plants leaf top and bottom. If your plant has root rot you can disinfect the roots by soaking the roots in hydrogen peroxide diluted mixture.
